By tradition, business orientation and capital placement policy in agriculture (special-purpose accounts, loans, deposits, investments), Agrobanka is the leading bank in Serbia. Its name stands for reliable and stable business partner with agricultural manufacturers and agricultural products processors.
For decades, Agrobanka has been an active participant in crediting of agriculture. Out of the totally approved funds to economy, the Bank directed over 60% of those funds to agriculture and food industry. The loan funds are granted primarily to SME, entrepreneurs and registered agricultural manufacturers. 

Agricultural estates are very important category of Agrobanka clients. In its system, Agrobanka has about 50,000 registered agricultural estates with open earmarked accounts.

In rural development financing, Agrobanka will support all projects which contribute to life and work conditions improvement, energy supply improvement, solution of water supply problems and necessary infrastructure development.

Agriculture kept alive Republic of Serbia during the most difficult years and proved to be its most vital sector during the crisis. It is known that, during the last year - 2009, agriculture represented lonely bright spot among the macroeconomic indicators (2.5%). It also presented a positive balance in the foreign trade.
In 2010, the Bank signed a Contract with the Ministry of Agriculture for participation in the programme for approval of incentive funds - short and long term ones – to the registered agricultural estates
In the forthcoming period, it is highly significant for the Bank to deepen the collaboration with the Ministry and to participate in as much financial and development programs as possible.
